ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for a strategic and hands-on Last Mile Freight Manager to lead our dispatch and transport operations across Australia nationally. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across our distribution network.
In this role you will:
• Lead and influence best-in-market third-party logistics partners, collaborating to drive operational efficiencies.
• Analyse and optimise transport network performance across multiple sites for cost and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with stakeholders to plan and forecast resources, wages, and labour requirements with accuracy and efficiency.
• Report and present performance metrics with recommendations to key stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience in leading high-volume supply chain or transport operations, ideally in retail or FMCG
• Strong stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills, with ability to build rapport
• Proven analytical stills with expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and commercial decision-making to align with key milestones
• A track record of driving results, improving processes, and leading & motivating teams.
• Understanding of WMS / TMS / Manhattan systems is advantageous
