Job Title: Laser Operator

Job Description

The Laser Operator is responsible for interpreting blueprints and work orders, selecting and uploading programs to machines, setting up tooling, and conducting initial part inspections before running full production. The role involves operating various laser machines, including Amada and Mitsubishi models, and providing support to other sheet metal areas as needed.

Shift and Pay

1st Shift 6am-2:30pm with OT after 2:30 and on Saturdays when demand requires

2nd Shift highest priority - Mon-Thur - 3:30pm-1:30am with OT when needed - Will train on days

$18-$25/hr

ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints and work orders for laser operation.Select and upload programs to machines accurately.Set up tooling and prepare machines for initial part runs.Conduct first part inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Operate a variety of laser machines including Amada and Mitsubishi.Support other sheet metal areas as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in laser setup and operation on various brands and controllers.Proficiency in precision measuring and quality inspection.Experience with laser setup and laser operation.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
