**Overview**
As a skilled specialist, the Laser Print Operator completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. May be an informal team leader. Duties are performed in a fast-paced data processing environment and require medium to heavy physical activity including lifting 50 pounds repeatedly. Requires availability to work overtime as needed.
**Responsibilities**
**Responsibilities** :
+ Maintains an understanding of and experience with cut sheet and Xerox Print Systems.
+ Troubleshoots job problems or failures, works with team and reports solutions to print manager.
+ Identifies material with poor quality and seeks assistance if needed to correct.
+ Moves inventory to and from staging areas set for the next finishing operation
+ Assists in operation and clean up of Laser Print area.
+ Completion of Job Tracking Logs, Production logs, scans Jobs into shop board at the beginning and end of each Job and other required paperwork
+ Adheres to policies and guidelines pertaining to confidentiality, security, safety and professional conduct.
+ Check and verify print output against sample to key information and indicators.
+ Perform proper machine set-up, start-up and shut down, including checking and verifying that equipment is ready for operation and that necessary supplies are available
+ Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
+ Routinely load and manipulate digital print files.
+ Maintain acceptable production speeds.
+ Use knowledge of PC based processing using windows to perform daily tasks.
+ Assign operators to work centers.
+ Communicate issues to management to ensure client service level agreement (SLA), drop dates, quality standards and schedules are met.
+ Ensure schedules are being followed and schedule to meet job requirements.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Background/Skills Required:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 1 to 5 years of experience working in digital print production.
+ Attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
+ Ability to work overtime as needed.
+ Strong awareness of sensitivity of client data and information security issues.
+ Ability to maintain positive, professional demeanor at all times.
+ Work involves frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs).
+ Displays initiative and sound judgment in resolving production issues
+ Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
+ Determines methods and procedures on new assignments

Compensation Range: $39,710 - $52,605 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
