Responsible for setting up and operating assigned laser machines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:

Ability to operate a laser machine (6 Months-1 year preferred)Gages ExperienceManufacturing backgroundKnowledge of applied mathematicsRead, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to perform precise and detailed workCommunicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the teamFollow and promote safe work practices

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESOperates machine manually and inputs data (MDI)Sets focal point and takes power readingSets up tool, jigs, fixtures and laser headsLoads and unloads parts according to work instructionsSets fixture offsets as requiredUtilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect partsMaintains accurate work recordsWillingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
