**This is a temporary 12-month position**

Starting Pay: $20.00 hourly/Onsite/ Monday-Friday/  8:00AM - 4:30PM

Please note that you are not required to know the Choctaw Language to be Language Apprentice.

Primary Tasks:

Work with Master level fluent speakers engaging in face-to-face language immersion activity and instructionWork in the Choctaw Language learning management system portal completing language curriculum assignmentsParticipate in department activities with our staffInstructional coursework as assignedOther duties as may be assigned by the Director of the School of Choctaw Language.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.Choctaw Tribal Member StatusStrong Verbal, Written, and Electronic Communication SkillsThe ability to learn how to read, speak, and teach the Choctaw languagePublic Speaking Experience PreferredMust Maintain 80% Minimum Attendance Must apply with Resume, Cover Letter, and Two (2) Letters of Recommendation to be considered
