Landscape Designer
Job Title: Landscape DesignerJob Description As a member of our Land Design/Landscape Architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates and permit applications. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in our fast-paced, collaborative and client-focused practice. Responsibilities + Plan and design landscape projects. + Prepare construction and planting plans. + Develop specifications, reports, and studies. + Estimate project costs and prepare permit applications. + Collaborate with team members in an interactive studio environment. Essential Skills + Proficient in landscape design and landscape architecture. + Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D software. + 4+ years of landscape design experience. + Experience with planning, design, and construction plans. + Proficiency in Photoshop, SketchUp, and project planning. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College. + Licensure preferred or planning and working toward licensure/PLA. + Proficiency in Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite. + Minimum of 1 year of previous experience under a Professional Landscape Architect. + Eagerness to learn, grow, and desire for career development. Work Environment This position is based in-office in Savannah, GA. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
