Landfill Gas Technician
Job Title: Landfill Gas Technician Job Description The Landfill Gas Technician role involves supporting landfill gas sites surrounding the Charlotte, NC area. This local travel position requires site visits where duties will include wellfield reading and tuning using an Envision gas meter, pulling pumps with a partner, and cleaning, rebuilding, and replacing equipment. Responsibilities also include gathering and submitting wellfield data in SCS eTools, as well as performing Surface Emissions Monitoring using an Elkins device. Responsibilities + Conduct wellfield reading and tuning with an Envision gas meter. + Pull pumps with a partner for maintenance and replacement. + Clean, rebuild, and replace equipment as needed. + Gather and submit wellfield data using SCS eTools. + Perform Surface Emissions Monitoring using an Elkins. Essential Skills + Experience in landfill gas operations. + Proficiency in environmental field software and data collection. + Knowledge of environmental testing and field sampling. + 3-5 years of experience is ideal, but candidates with 1+ years may also be considered. + HAZWOPER certification is a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as a Landfill Gas Technician. + Familiarity with landfill site operations.
