PAY VARIES BASED ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE! Description We are currently seeking a Landfill Gas Technician to support multiple landfill sites in South Florida. This person will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks, in order to support the landfill gas systems. Responsibility includes various operation, maintenance, inspection, and tasks, including pump maintenance, flare maintenance, well raising, pipe fusion, reading gas levels with a gas meter (GEM500 or Envisions), inspections, etc. The Technician is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements. Skills landfill, gas well, methane, trenching, mechanical, repair, service, blueprint, field service Additional Skills & Qualifications Top 3: Must Needs: Mechanical and Environmental background , Problem Solving abilities, and Understands Computer Technologies Qualifications: -2+ years of experience working as a landfill gas technician or pump technician is preferred. -Must be able to handle the outdoor conditions on a very large landfill site. -Ability to pass MVR -40-HR HAZWOPER not required, but is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
