Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Party Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects in the field, and perform boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of-way acquisition, transmission line, gas pipeline, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and collect all field data for surveys.Operate total station, level, RTK GPS Receiver, and data collectors in performance of field surveys and be able to teach the same.Perform construction stakeout.Conduct gas pipeline surveying.Execute powerline surveying.Carry out topographic surveys.Conduct boundary surveys and ALTA/ACSM land title surveys.Perform deed research when needed.Essential SkillsA minimum of 10 years of survey experience as a survey party chief.Ability to work both independently and in group environments.Proficiency in operating total station equipment and GPS.Ability to follow policy and procedures to ensure all work is done accurately and efficiently.Ability to perform QA/QC on field work.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhysically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 50 lbs.Capability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.Work Environment
The role is based in our NC location with limited travel requirements, ensuring you are home every night. The position involves working primarily in a field environment with exposure to high-profile projects. The work environment is dynamic, requiring physical endurance and the ability to adapt to various weather conditions while operating advanced surveying equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
