Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our organization, conducting precise measurements and providing accurate data for various construction and infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Perform survey work under the direction and guidance of the Senior Highway Surveyor.Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the fieldRecord all measurements, rod readings and calculations neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses.Coordinate with the Contractor’s surveyor on work priorities and schedules.Check all work by completing traverse closures and bench circuits.Report discrepancies or technical problems to the Assistant Resident Engineer.Perform joint measurements of the completed work or paymentMaintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks.Specific Skills RequiredStrong Construction supervision experiences on expressways projects.Well experienced in the construction of interchanges / intersections.Ability to utilize modern computer software and survey equipment

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in land surveyingProficiency in survey software, CAD programs, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) softwareExtensive knowledge of topographic surveying techniques and equipmentStrong skills in construction drawing interpretation and analysisExperience in vertical control data observation and benchmark establishmentProven ability to verify and validate survey data and calculationsExpertise in slope calculation, cross-sectional area plotting, and quantity estimationFamiliarity with local regulations and standards in Dubai and the UAEKnowledge of boundary surveying and property line determinationStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with roads and infrastructure projects is highly desirable
