The right candidate will work alongside land acquisitions and land development to meet the land acquisition goals that support the division’s annual business plan established by the Division President. Participate in due diligence, forecasting and benchmarking of potential and existing development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform competitive demographic, product, trend, and data analysis to understand what other builders are doing so that the company remains competitive. Complete all Competitive Market Analyses (CMA) and Land Acquisition Proformas for the Land Acquisition team.Perform due diligence of prospective acquisitions and developmentsProvide research and market knowledge for the acquisition and development for future projectsPrepare financial modeling to support and guide acquisition decisionsPrepare presentations and marketing materials on prospective acquisitionsAnalyze and monitor the financial performance of properties including financial modeling, benchmarking to budget, and collaborating with management in executing business plansAssist with providing conceptual plans for subdividing and parceling assetsClosely monitor changes in the market and create models to predict upcoming situations based on market trendsProvide expert advice regarding prospective projects based on economic conditions, market trends, and financial situationsCompile and analyze financial data to assess a property's financial viability.
