Regardless of your experience, we want to connect with you! **About the Unit:** The Mount Carmel St. Ann's Mother Infant unit is a 40 bed unit and will see maternity patients, well moms and babies and some low risk GYN patients. Our Lactation Consultants are a part of our culture of shared governance, where collaboration creates an environment that puts the focus on what’s truly important – our patients and the communities we serve. The Lactation Consultant, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care, consultation and education for patients, families, nursing staff, medical staff, allied health professionals, nursing students and the community regarding lactation in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
