The Employee Relations (ER) Advisor presents a great opportunity for a HR professional who is looking to specialise in ER. This role will be required to build relationships and ensure compliance with employment law and company policy and will provide guidance and support to People Leaders across all Cytiva sites on all aspects of first-line ER relating to disciplinary, Confidential - Company Proprietary grievance, performance management, absence management, flexible working and probation.
This position will initially report to the Labour and Employee Relations Director for the UK and Ireland and is part of the Cytiva Global Labour and Employee Relations Centre of Expertise. Within time, the report will report into the Employee Relations Specialist for the UK and Ireland.
What you will do:
Provide expert guidance and advice to managers on a wide range of ER matters.Ensure compliance with employment law and legislation, company policy and the ACAS Code of Practice.Handle a varied caseload relating to ER matters, including disciplinary investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, performance management, flexible working, absence management and probation.Provide training and coaching to support managers on ER policy and processSupport with administering and preparing case management documentation that include drafting outcome letters, investigation reports and performance improvement plans.
