Overview The Yukon Flats Project is recruiting for its seasonal exploration program in Birch Creek, Alaska, running between June and October. The Laborer position involves tasks of varying physical and mental difficulty. Complete a wide variety of tasks in a remote environment to maintain a safe working and living environment. Tasks may vary from day-to-day and involve anything from setting up camp to loading and unloading supplies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform physical tasks in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in inclement weather. Move, load, unload, assemble, and disassemble various materials. Maintain safety standards. Ability to follow instructions and work with others. Some tasks may require on-the-job training. Once trained, or in cases where no training is required, perform tasks with little to no supervision. Clean and prepare worksites and materials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to lift 50+ pounds without assistance.
