Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moody Grassy Pond. Guaranteed 0 hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 40 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance. Responsibilities Performs a combination of loading and un-loading, or relocating heavy or bulky items from boxcars, trucks, and other conveyances; carriers and assembles scaffolding. May use shovel to dig trenches where soil is compacted in areas around facility; occasionally and for short periods of time, breaks up pavement with jackhammer, and fills holes in damaged roads. Uses heavy (not domestic type) power mowers; adjust blades, and cleans and oils mowers; cuts trees, using ax or chain saw. Performs other related duties as assigned.
