Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **We are searching for the best talent for** **LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IV** **to be in Ciudad Juárez, Salvarcar Site.** **Purpose:** Assists laboratory staff with sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping. Tests samples of finished goods under general supervision. Applies developing knowledge of Quality Control standards to review results of quality analysis and report issues as required. Supports data review and analysis, and leads implementation of risk mitigations and continuous improvement initiatives under supervision. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. This job is salaried. **You will be responsible for** **:** Under supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: **Sampling.** + Prepares labels for samples. + Performs independent analysis of routine samples using applicable testing methods. + Performs advanced analysis that are non-compendial. + Enters samples in electronic and manual systems of laboratory that could include record and number control maintenance books. + Performs and monitors routine tests using laboratory instruments. + Possess the ability to recognize problems during the analysis. + Begins researches for non-conforming laboratory tests. + Performs the daily execution of calibration/verification of the laboratory instruments. + Could be required to help in calibration activities. + Performs and records laboratory observations and calculations. + Collects and prepares data for evaluation. + Files test documentation that have been completed. + Performs other similar duties which will be assigned by laboratory management. + Helps less experienced technicians. + Maintains his/her work area clean. + Provides support to internal laboratory, environmental and safety managements + Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level + Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures + Performs other duties assigned as needed **Qualifications / Requirements:** QUALIFICATIONS: + Technical career, truncated or in process, High School Diploma or equivalent is required. + 6 to 8 years of experience in a laboratory environment with good manufacturing and laboratory practices (GMP’s) and (GLP’s), executing advanced activities in a progressive manner to a level of Technician 3. + Bilingual: English – Spanish. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: + Training in good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and ISO requirements. + Knowledge and execution of good laboratory practices (GLP’s). + Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. + Good interpersonal and organizational skills. + Self-motivated. + Abilities to use computers and related programs. ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS + Requires to work in a controlled laboratory environment, in an office and/or in a Controlled Manufacturing environment. + Personal safety equipment must be used at all times when in laboratory area (gown, safety goggles).
