A company we are supporting is looking for a meticulous a Quality Control Lab Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic acumen in chemistry or a related science field who can confidently apply their knowledge in a regulated lab environment. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining product quality through hands-on testing and analytical support.
Primary ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine testing of production batches and finished goods in accordance with SOPs and FDA/GMP standards.Perform chemical analyses using HPLC, GC, TOC, and wet chemistry techniques.Document and interpret test results, identify trends, and communicate any necessary batch modifications.Participate in raw material inspections and environmental monitoring activities.Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, and that the workspace remains clean and organized.Support compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).Collaborate across shifts to maintain continuity and effective communication.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a science-related discipline with substantial chemistry coursework.Solid grasp of chemical principles and laboratory methodologies.Ability to clearly articulate chemistry concepts and apply them in practical lab scenarios.Experience with lab instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and pH meters is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
