**Responsibilities**
We are looking for a detail-oriented **Laboratory Technician to support research and development projects, testing and laboratory analyses. The successful candidate will** perform complex and special testing in accordance with engineering specifications, test procedures and acceptable industry standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Performs multiple tests on finished products in support to special projects, manufacturing processes, and to validate production processes and materials at each stage of manufacturing for internal and externally manufactured products.
+ Responsible for checking and monitoring instrumentation performance. In this role, you will document results into databases and/or communication test results.
+ Audits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
+ Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
+ Skilled in Verification and Validation (V&V), Medical Devices and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
+ Skilled in product testing, process and test measurement equipment.
+ Ensure lab equipment is in working condition through calibration and maintenance records.
+ Identify areas of improvements for test methods and inspection
+ Perform other related duties as required
**Qualifications**
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, equivalent skilled trades, apprenticeships or equivalent education. Requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

**Preferred Qualifications 1**
• Associate degree, trade or technical education in a directly related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years quality control experience involving wet chemistry and/or materials analysis
• Experience using statistical tools to analyze data
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred
