Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Description

This is a full-time position with a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday. The role involves working on the 2nd shift, starting at 2pm and ending at 10:30pm, with an 11am start on Saturdays.

ResponsibilitiesConduct micro lab testing for 80% to 90% of the workday.Perform remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours daily.Utilize lab equipment to carry out various microbiology and biology experiments, including plating and pipetting.Work independently with minimal supervision.Cross-train and adapt to additional areas within the lab based on performance.Essential SkillsProficiency in biology and microbiology.Experience with lab equipment and laboratory procedures.Skill in plating and pipetting.Ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in the Sciences.Work Environment

The role is based within a laboratory environment, focusing primarily on micro lab testing. The technician will spend the majority of their day engaged in testing activities, with some time allotted to documentation and cleaning tasks. The work schedule is structured for the 2nd shift, offering hands-on experience in a rapidly growing environment with potential for career advancement and internal relocation opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $23.00/hr.
