Laboratory Tech Aide

On a given day, you may: Accurate reports are prepared and distributed to the technical service advisor within 2 working days of the sample arriving in the lab. Drench samples are analyzed by the end of the day the sample arrives in the lab. Standard curves and accuracy checks for residue procedures are completed as scheduled. Reagents and standards are stocked and their integrity is carefully maintained. Supply levels are regularly monitored, and the need for additional supplies is communicated in a timely manner. Any problems with lab equipment or operational issues are promptly communicated. Assistance is provided to implement solutiond. Requirements for the role High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a laboratory Citrus processing experience or vegetable and other fruit experience Computer skills (able to use email, Microsoft Word & Excel) Willing to work overtime including weekends as required Must be able to read and adhere to procedures and policies.
