In this role, there is opportunity to:
Perform all duties of a Specimen Processor, including receiving, sorting, and preparing specimens for analysis. Answer phone inquiries and investigate specimen status or report disposition. Direct callers to appropriate resources for additional support. Deliver specimens to designated work areas to support timely analysis. Demonstrate a service-oriented approach through respectful and enthusiastic communication. Conduct basic instrument maintenance and document performance per established protocols. Record and monitor temperatures as required for quality assurance. Assist with restocking and inventory management of lab supplies. Maintain organized storage for room temperature, refrigerated, and frozen items. Prepare and replenish instrument reagents to support uninterrupted testing operations.
