Job SummaryThe Laboratory Services Technician will help coordinate the support and maintenance activities in the School of Kinesiology's 25 research centers and instructional laboratories. These responsibilities include developing and monitoring par levels of supplies, ensuring equipment is safe for use and functioning and collaborating with other SoK staff and faculty to ensure the smooth operation of research and instructional spaces. You will also oversee the scheduling, use and training for specific pieces of shared equipment and shared spaces. Other tasks include tracking shared equipment, arranging for repairs, cleaning and maintaining equipment. You will report to the Assistant Director, Research and Instructional Lab Operations.
This position is onsite at our Ann Arbor Campus, however there will be potential for a hybrid schedule after passing the probationary period, with a remote option up to 1 day/week.
