The Department of Biological Sciences is hiring a Laboratory Research Technician to support Dr. Anne Carlson's lab. Responsibilities will include animal husbandry, tissue preparations, making solutions, pouring plates, and molecular biology (including, but not limited to cloning and PCR). Technician will be responsible for dissections and cell preparations, as well as experiments on the prepared cells. Must have strong verbal communication skills, be organized, willing to speak and present in lab meeting, and able to handle instructions provided by researchers.

• Maintains, calibrates, cleans, and tests sterility of laboratory equipment.
