**Laboratory IT** **Project Manager** Cognizant Technology is seeking a Laboratory Project Manager who could join our team of professionals in a permanent role. Location: East Hanover, New Jersey(Hybrid) **Job Description:** Roles/Responsibilities: • Project Planning and Execution • Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies specific to Lab IT initiatives. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including lab scientists, IT specialists, data managers, and vendors—to establish project objectives and deliverables. • Monitor progress, address bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to ensure timely project completion. • Manage the project budget, allocating resources efficiently and forecasting future needs based on evolving project scope. • Utilise project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) as appropriate for the technical and operational context. • Understanding Laboratory Operations • In-depth knowledge of scientific workflows, laboratory instruments, and data management requirements. • Ability to tailor IT solutions to support research, diagnostics, and quality control functions in compliance with industry standards. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Laboratory Sciences, or related technical field. · Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master) are highly desirable. · Extensive experience in managing Lab IT projects, including LIMS, ELN, instrument integration, and data analytics platforms. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and validation processes. · Adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and compliance. **Salary and Other Compensation:** Applications will be accepted until July 16th 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $66,896 K -$132,500 K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
