Description of Job TheDivision of Disease Control and Public Health Response (DCPHR) is the department’s lead surveillance, planning and response arm for public events including communicable disease outbreaks and epidemics, pandemics, bioterrorism, and other public health and mass casualty events and disasters. What you will be doing: The position is responsible for performing cleaning and custodial duties including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, vacuuming and taking out trash. Cleaning and Sanitizing of Facilities: + Performs daily cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing of assigned work area as per schedules and procedures by use of appropriate disinfectant cleaners, chemicals, and equipment consisting of sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming breakroom cleaning, restroom cleaning, and other related duties as required. + Performs other routine cleaning to include washing frames, sills, windows, baseboards, fixtures, furnishings, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures.
