We are looking to hire a laboratory coordinator to help support a highly regulated Gene Therapy laboratory. This role will not be physically working in the lab, rather it will help coordinate and schedule testing, project timelines, and perform more document review.
An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a science and experience doing laboratory scheduling.
Job Description
As a Lab Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with management and staff to drive the strategic direction of the department, including the determination of schedules and project timelines. You will play a pivotal role in scheduling all necessary lab testing once samples are sent to the Quality department and organize analytical test methods required by the team. Additionally, you will provide general support in document review and engage in minor technical writing.
ResponsibilitiesSchedule all lab testing needed once samples are sent to the Quality department.Organize analytical test methods required by the team.Support laboratory resources and supply chain, maintaining materials inventory control to meet production goals.Operate and perform calibration, validation, and cleaning of facility equipment and systems as specified in SOPs.Assist in process documentation review, revision, remediation, and process change controls.QualificationsSkill in schedule planning and coordinating.Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).Proficiency in lab scheduling and coordination.Experience with lab samples handling.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in a science field preferred.Minimum of 1+ years of experience in laboratory scheduling (if you have scheduling experience, but it's less than a year please feel free to still apply)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
