Department Details

This position is an as needed position. Successful applicant will work a variety of shifts anywhere from 5am to 11pm or an overnight shift. The successful applicant will be required to pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.

Job Description

This is a PRN position. Successful candidate will assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and assisting patients at the front desk when needed. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.



Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
