Description of Work Unit
The Department of Clinical Sciences mission is to assure the health and productivity of animals to meet societal needs through high quality educational programs for professional veterinary medical students, graduate veterinarians, and the public through a faculty and veterinary medical center of excellence, and to advance and disseminate comparative biomedical knowledge in an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Position Summary
This position provides technical support to the Pezzanite Laboratory in research and teaching activities related to veterinary surgery and anesthesia. The incumbent will assist with orthopedic surgery procedures, perform anesthesia on research animals, collect and process tissue samples, and help train veterinary, undergraduate, and graduate students in laboratory techniques. This is a non-student hourly position based on campus.
Position Minimum Qualifications
+ Experience in surgery
+ Experience in anesthesia
Preferred Qualifications
+ Willingness and ability to train students.
