What You’ll Be Doing

 

Design and execute application tests on refrigeration systems and components in collaboration with R&D, engineering, and sales teams. 

Develop new testing methodologies and setups that align with international standards and improve efficiency, accuracy, and product quality. 

Analyze, diagnose, and optimize system performance based on test data, driving design improvements for new and existing products. 

Contribute to global laboratory excellence by sharing expertise, supporting capability-building projects, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. 

Ensure safety and quality compliance by maintaining detailed documentation, clean workspaces, and adherence to Danfoss safety and quality policies.

What We're Looking For

 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Thermal, or related field). 

3–5 years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration applications, with strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics. 

Hands-on experience with testing processes and methodologies in a lab or field environment. 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail. 

Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida and engage in cross-functional projects with a global team.


Bonus points if you bring: experience with measurement techniques, metrology, data acquisition systems (such as NI LabVIEW), Six Sigma or quality tools, or hands-on mechanical skills.
