Job Description
We're hiring a Lab Technician for our Quality Department at Avery Dennison Performance Tapes in Turnhout, Belgium
Essential Job functions and responsibilities:
Issue sample plans & sample preparation for final inspection testing.
Inspection of raw materials, components, in-process and final products in accordance with approved SOPs, customer and regulatory requirements and develop certificates of analysis/conformance reports.
Supports the execution of the MSA and product audit plan.
Provide QA support during production activities.
Provide support in product complaint investigations / testing of non conforming product.
Calibration of test equipment and substrates in the QA lab and the QC labs in accordance with approved SOP’s.
Approve the release of product for shipment to customer.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical related field is a plus.
Understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949 and/or ISO 13485, is a plus.
Ability to work with various types of procedures and equipment.
Flexibility to manage changing activities / projects.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
Good verbal and written skills.
