Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in quality control testing on finished product materials and incoming raw materials. Your expertise in running various tests will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality control testing on finished product materials and incoming raw materials.Perform tests such as titrations, refractory index, viscosity, and sand testing.Operate and maintain instrumentation including an auto titrator, refractive index equipment, and gas chromatography.Assist in preparing certificates of analysis and conducting data entry.Essential Skills
Proficiency in chemistry, biology, physics, and lab sciences.Experience with titrations, quality control, and sample testing.Understanding of viscosity, refractive index, and quality standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must possess a BA in science such as chemistry, physics, biology, forensic science, biochemistry, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility, working in the quality lab. The work schedule is on the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
