Lab Technician
Job Description Pfizer’s Protein and Bioanalytical Sciences (PBS) team is seeking Associate Scientists to support the Oncology Research Unit (ORU) in Bothell, WA. This team is responsible for preparing and managing research-grade materials used in preclinical evaluations of antibody-based cancer treatments. In this role, you’ll handle materials such as Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs), proteins, toxic linker payloads, and bioanalysis study samples. You’ll perform sample preparation, inventory maintenance, and shipping coordination (domestic and international). You’ll also manage reagent inventories using Freezerworks software and help build efficiencies in lab logistics and sample management processes. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in biochemistry, chemistry, biology or related field (0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent) • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills  • Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality documentation  • Willingness to work with potent cytotoxic compounds and follow safety protocols  • Comfortable working in cold environments Plusses:  • Hands-on lab experience (outside of academic coursework)  • Experience handling proteins, antibodies, and small compounds  • Familiarity with automated lab equipment and protocols  • Experience with protein liquid chromatography or spectroscopy instrumentation Prior use of electronic lab notebooks and/or LIMS systems
