Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include HPLC testing, preparing process and finished product samples, and performing analytical testing. You will record results into software programs, organize and prepare samples, and maintain cleanliness in the lab. Additionally, light maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment are part of the role, ensuring all systems operate accurately by comparing equipment readouts with standard samples.

ResponsibilitiesConduct HPLC testing and analysis.Prepare process and finished product samples for testing.Perform analytical testing and record results in software programs.Organize and prepare samples for testing.Clean testing equipment and lab areas.Perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment.Organize, clean, and schedule orders for lab equipment.Compare equipment readouts with standard samples to ensure accurate operation.Essential SkillsExperience with HPLC and GC testing.Proficiency in pH testing and moisture testing.Knowledge of GMP, quality control, and quality assurance standards.Familiarity with laboratory equipment and lab testing procedures.Ability to multi-task and conduct various scientific tests.Additional Skills & QualificationsAn Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience.Ability to learn and operate HPLC, GC, and other scientific instrumentation.Work Environment

This position involves working in a rotating shift environment, alternating between days and nights with a 12-hour shift schedule (7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM). The rotation follows a pattern of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off, including every other weekend. Initial training will be on a floating schedule and may not follow the typical shift rotation. The role has the potential to be a long-term contract position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
