Lab Technician - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team, where you will be responsible for performing daily evaluation and approval of finished products, process quality checks, and basic microbiological testing. This role requires you to manage equipment calibration, conduct ingredient and packaging inspections, and maintain sample archives. You will also be responsible for recording test results and communicating findings with relevant departments.

ResponsibilitiesConduct daily evaluation and approval of finished products.Perform process quality checks and basic microbiological testing.Manage equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and calculation of dilutions.Conduct ingredient inspections, packaging inspections, and inventory control.Maintain sample archives and conduct various laboratory tests including solvent extraction, sieving, pH, protein, fiber, fat, ash, and microbiological plating.Record test results and communicate with operating departments and management.Perform in-process quality checks and collect test samples as needed.Troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical maintenance.Maintain a clean, safe work environment through general lab cleanup.Perform tasks with little to no supervision.Essential Skills0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.Basic wet chemistry skills.Food manufacturing experience.Scientific mindset, potentially with a degree in chemistry or biology.Experience with lab testing, wet chemistry, and pH testing.Additional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing experience is a plus.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
