Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Line Tech to join our team in Hendersonville, NC. This role is essential in ensuring that our beverages—including juices, teas, waters, and concentrates—meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the manufacturing process.
ResponsibilitiesConduct standardized analytical tests (pH, Titratable Acidity, Vitamin C, °Brix, color, clarity, turbidity) on various beverage products.Perform sensory evaluations (flavor, odor, visual) during blending and final product stages.Support sampling, testing, and release of raw and bulk materials.Execute pre-operational verifications and line clearances at shift start and during flavor/label changes.Perform and document hourly quality checks on analytical, labeling, and packaging parameters.Maintain accurate, real-time records in compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.Identify and communicate aseptic production issues; support investigations and documentation (OOS, NCR, Deviations).Conduct microbial testing and support environmental monitoring programs.Manage QA holds in QAD and assist in determining product disposition.Essential SkillsExperience in food and beverage manufacturing.Quality testing for pH, Acidity, Brix, Turbidity.Experience working cross-functionally with operators.Additional Skills & QualificationsFor non-degreed candidates: Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is required.For degreed candidates: A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Experience with Micro techniques and plating.Basic wet chemistry testing experience.Work Environment
The position will be on the manufacturing floor, working hand in hand with the production operators. It involves sampling and testing on the manufacturing floor rather than in a lab. The facility is a very clean food supplier, ensuring a hygienic working environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $58240.00/yr.
