Lab Technician
Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for processing SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, and microbial cultures. You will produce antigens and reagents and prepare buffers, media, and solutions. Your role will also include completing internal documentation and performing housekeeping activities, including waste disposal and glassware preparation.

The job involves standing, using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and using a microscope. You will frequently walk and sit, regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. The environment can get hot at times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
