About the Role: As a key member of our R&D team, you’ll play a vital role in developing and optimizing innovative paint and coating formulations—including water-based, solvent-based, UV-curable, and specialty systems. Your expertise will help shape the future of surface technologies, from initial lab experiments to real-world applications. What You’ll Do: + Collaborate with our talented chemists to develop new and improved paint and coating formulations. + Prepare precise lab-scale batches, following detailed recipes and experimental plans. + Conduct performance tests — from scratch and abrasion to gloss measurements — to evaluate formulations. + Record detailed observations and results with accuracy, maintaining comprehensive lab notebooks and digital databases. + Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art R&D equipment like dispersers, mixers, and analytical tools. + Support the transition from lab to production, including scale-up trials and raw material evaluations. + Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized lab environment aligned with best practices. Who You Are: + Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field. + Bring 1–3 years of hands-on lab experience, preferably in paints, coatings, adhesives, or polymers. + Skilled in handling chemicals and conducting precise testing procedures. + Knowledgeable about raw materials like binders, pigments, solvents, and coating techniques such as spray, brush, and roller application. Additional Skills That Make You Stand Out: + Detail-oriented with a passion for accurate documentation and quality. + Organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. + Proficient in MS Office; experience with lab data management software is a plus. + A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
