We are currently looking for a lab research scientist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the United StatesMust live in the Salt Lake City areaMust work in our Millcreek office full-time Monday-FridayA 4 year B.S. degree in the sciences. Preferably chemistry, physics, geochemistry, or geophysics1 to 5 years of industry experience in the corporate R&D or Lab industryExperience with operating analytical equipmentEfficientSelf-motivatedOrganizedBackground in electromagnetic radiation (radio waves, microwaves, X rays, light spectra, visible light, infrared, ultraviolet, laser, etc...)

Responsibilities

Training and expert support will be provided for all responsibilitiesExperimental based workApplying the scientific method to solve real problemsRunning high energy XRF equipmentRunning multiple pieces of analytical equipmentModifying and testing analytical equipmentConducting analytical studiesDocumenting testing and modifying based on resultsScope of work and testing report writingSupporting the design, testing and operation of sensing products
