Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of environmental monitoring and laboratory activities within a regulated scientific environment. This role ensures compliance with quality standards, manages sample collection and testing workflows, and leads a team of laboratory professionals to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead environmental monitoring programs (compressed gases, water, cleanroom environments)Supervise lab operations, ensuring timely and accurate testing and reportingManage equipment calibration and maintenance schedulesOversee training and ensure procedural complianceUtilize LIMS for sample tracking and performance metricsConduct investigations and prepare technical reportsSupport microbial identification and media acceptance testingApply Lean principles to improve workflow efficiencyLeadership Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor analysts and group leadersCoordinate scheduling, task assignments, and onboardingManage overtime and weekend work schedulesPromote company values and team alignmentParticipate in hiring and team development initiativesQualificationsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory operations and team leadershipHands-on experience in a GMP-regulated environment preferredStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills and Attributes:
