BayCare is currently in search of our newest Lab Medical Assistant II-Phlebotomy who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Responsibilities:

Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testingCommunications with nursing regarding patient specimensReferring specimens to outside laboratoriesInteraction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab testsPerformance of phlebotomy proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Required High School or EquivalentRequired Florida Driver's License if applicableRequired 6 months phlebotomy; or 6 months laboratory related or 6 months related field
