Our PPD® Laboratory Services team directly impacts patient health through the expertise of our scientists and industry thought-leaders. As the world leader in serving science, we strictly adhere to the highest standards of accuracy and quality, ensuring every innovation is groundbreaking and outstanding.

Discover Impactful Work

You will provide system analysis for new laboratory instrumentation, maintain existing equipment, and assist in the validation and qualification of laboratory instruments. Your role will encompass troubleshooting, repairs, and support for laboratory personnel to meet specific sponsor timelines for analytical results.

A day in the Life

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing schedules, mentoring team members, and leading qualification works related to the Portables and Send Outs team.

Key Responsibilities:

Check and manage team schedulesMentor team members in findings, NCs, INCs, and reportingLead and oversee qualification work related to the team

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.5-8 years of hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical company, GMP, and Metrology.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong understanding of lab operations and the support needed within a lab setting.Proficiency in portables and send outs equipment including pipettes.Familiarity with systems used at PPD or equivalent experience within the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry.Deep understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).Ability to adhere strictly to laboratory policies and standard operating procedures.Proficient computer skills and effective communication abilities.Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
