The Professor Ignea Lab at the Department of Bioengineering is seeking a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Lab Helper (B) to support research activities in their dynamic lab environment.

Position Summary

Sterilization of glassware and consumables (autoclaving)Glassware washingMaintain readiness of consumables for use and sterilization (tips filling...)Maintain lab work areas clean and orderlyAssist - on occasion- in preparing samples for testing with a multitude of lab equipment

Skills and Qualifications

High School diplomaOne year of laboratory experience is required Good knowledge of Lab safety

Expected start date: August 25 2025
Expected end date: Feb 25 2026
Number of hours per week: 10h (schedule to be set with supervisor)

Hourly rate 18$
