Job Description

As a Lab Equipment Technician, you will be working with a driven service team with the the Large Molecules Analytical Sciences (LMAS) group. Your responsibilities include and not limited to:

 Serving as a troubleshooting specialist to resolve technical issues in techniques like HPLC, LC-MS, CZE, and icIEF, reducing downtime and preventing recurring experiment failures.Leading method development and optimization projects, including refining existing SOPs or developing and validating new methods.Documenting, analyzing, and reporting all experimental data, ensuring traceability and compliance by logging results in validated GMP software systems.Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for techniques developed, optimized, or conducted a troubleshooting investigation of.As the person in charge of multiple HPLC systems and an LC-MS system, coordinate their preventative maintenance and calibration, to guarantee the reliability of testing operations and to comply with quality plus standards.Performing routine analyses using HPLC, LC-MS, CZE, and icIEF as needed to support quality testing workflows.

QualificationsHolds a master’s degree in analytical chemistry or a related field.At least 2 years of chromatography experience (HPLC/ LC-MS/ GC).At least 1 year of experience with method development, method validation and transfer.Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders with mandatory fluent communication skills in English.  Dutch is nice to have.
