Job Description
As a Lab Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a Environmental Test Lab, acting as the technical execution bridge between engineering and technicians. Your operations-focused role will involve responding to and triaging issues, developing troubleshooting guides, and creating processes to ensure smooth test execution. You will contribute significantly to building a reliable, efficient, and autonomous test operation.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct technical support to technicians during test execution, helping resolve issues in real-time.Assist with fixture and equipment setup for both production and development testing.Create and maintain troubleshooting guides for common issues with chamber hardware, software, and peripheral systems.Guide non-conformance reports through the resolution process, coordinating with engineering teams.Identify opportunities to simplify work procedures and improve productivity.Ensure all necessary tooling, fixtures, and support hardware are prepared and calibrated.Essential Skills3 years of experience in a test or manufacturing environment.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in test automation tools such as LabView and Python.Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $69.73/hr.
