As the world leader in serving science, our laboratory professionals bring their commitment to accuracy and quality to deliver groundbreaking innovations. **Discover Impactful Work:** Performs assigned tasks such as gathering, washing, drying, and restocking glassware in a highly regulated environment. Performs daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Work is performed in a clinical/GMP environment. **A day in the Life:** + Perform any or all Glassware Washing functions to include oversight and performance of a variety of complex standard tasks and daily tasks in support of the Glassware Washing department. + Assists/fulfills lab requests for glassware via email/RAM requests. + Restocks lab cabinets with properly washed/inspected glassware. + Maintains glass wash units to ensure proper functionality. + Maintains 5S within glass washrooms. + Assists with monthly glassware inventory. + Provides daily metrics and other required departmental statistics. + Delivery/pickup of glassware across campus, when required. + Solution/HPLC waste dumping throughout campus. + Providing green tagging duties on equipment throughout campus. + Performs work assignments accurately and in a timely and safe manner. **Keys to Success:** **Education** + High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification + Technical positions may require a certificate **Experience** + Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. _In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role._ **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Understanding of GLP/GCP + Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Strong detail orientation + Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Ability to work in a collaborative team environment + Ability to read, identify, and transcribe details accurately + Ability to multi-task and handle high pressure situations + Time management and organizational skills **Work Environment** Thermo Fisher Scientific values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
