Located in San Marcos in northern San Diego County. Offering a variety of analytical
testing services to support environmental investigations focused on wildfire, structure fire, asbestos, mold &
bacteria (microbiology). Our management team has over 74 years of combined experience in particulate analysis and trace evidence examination. We believe in empowering our customers with accurate and defensible analytical results.
ResponsibilitiesSafely perform analyses on samples according to Liberty’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using advanced instruments.Follow all laboratory QA/QC requirementsRecord data using computer software and programs.Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.Perform other assigned duties, as requested by supervisor.Essential SkillsAssociates or Bachelor’s Degree in a life science (biology, chemistry, environmental science, etc.) preferred. 2-5 years of Flame Atomic Absorption (FLAA) experience.Ability to trouble shoot the FLAA instrument and the preparation process.Ability to prepare paint chip, soil, bulk, wipes and air samples.Ability to run calibration curves and run all the required QAQC samples.Ability to manage all supplies orders required for the department.Self-motivated, independent, and team oriented.Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments. Good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills. Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in a life science such as biology, chemistry, or environmental science is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and prioritizing assignments.Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.Huge plus if a candidate has experience with PLM and PCMWork Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $45.00/hr.
