Lab Analyst
Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst specializing in wildfire, structure fire, asbestos, and mold analysis.

ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis and identification of mold and spores.Perform Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) to analyze samples.Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.Communicate effectively and utilize computer and typing skills to document findings.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in mycology, focusing on mold and spore analysis.1 year of experience with Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) preferred.1-2 years of experience with Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) required.Strong communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in a life science such as biology, chemistry, or environmental science is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and prioritizing assignments.Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.Work Environment

Located in the beautiful northern San Diego County, the work environment is dynamic and fast-paced. The facility is equipped with advanced analytical technologies to support environmental investigations. The dress code is business casual, fostering a professional yet comfortable atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
