Your ‘day to day':

As Lab Administrator t you will be part of our Quality department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Supervisor Lab Capacity Planning. The position will be based in Bologna.A key responsibility is to perform administrative / operational duties with technical or specialized content, operate specific computer programs and provide coordination support to ensure the efficient day to day assistance to the management.
 

Your Responsibilities:
 

Perform administrative / operational duties in order to ensure communication flow within and outside the department.Respond to information requests, which require finding elements from various sources and prepare ad-hoc correspondence or report to meet the needs of the requestors.Collect and consolidate departmental reporting and data from different sources to prepare reports and statistics according to defined procedures. If applicable coordinate publishing of respective department updates in close collaboration with department heads or the dedicated internal communication team.Connect with outside partners of the department, follow up on any corrective actions and settle problems according to guidelines and procedures in order to meet internal and external business requirements.Prepare and edit technical or business related presentations and submit the documents for review and final approval in order to meet the needs of the direct supervisor.Monitor Record & Information Management application and assist Management for governance and effective on going implementation.Perform any other task / project assigned by direct supervisor or any other manager in the department.Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature.

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

• Technical school or equivalent/Degree in Chemistry (or equivalent discipline) or relevant skills through demonstrated experience.
• At least 6 months of experience
• Knowledge in MS Office Package.
•    Fluent Knowledge of  International standards (ISO). Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge. Ability to transform data into information (reporting skills).
• Strong communication, negotiation, ability to coach, teamwork and intercultural competence. Action orientation, analytical thinking, priority setting and strong drive for results. 
• Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken.
