L3 Voice Operations Engineer

We're seeking someone to join our team as a L3 Voice Operations Engineer responsible for supporting global voice infrastructure.

This is an L3 Voice Operations Engineer position at [CORP LEVEL], which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you'll do in the role:

 Level 3 troubleshooting, analysis, and remediation

acting as a regional lead, with responsibility for managing additional Voice Operations Engineers

Collaborating with global operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless support for both end-user and back-office infrastructure

Project delivery, life cycle management, ongoing system maintenance, and upgrades

Please not that weekend work will be required as part of this position.

 
What you'll bring to the role:
 

Familiarity with ITIL framework, including Incident, problem, and change management.

Demonstrable expertise in Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) 12.x and beyond including IP-endpoints, Cisco Jabber, and Jabber Mobile.

Extensive knowledge of voice, packetized voice and related protocols (SIP, MGCP, ISDN), session management and call routing

Knowledge of Avaya System Manager and Session Manager

At least 5 years' relevant experience (working with enterprise base voice and data) would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Cisco CCNP Collaboration level knowledge (certification is not a must)

Ability to communicate with business units during projects and incidents.

Operational acceptance of new deployments and creating technical documentation for as built environment.

Ability to track work activity in Service Now ticketing system.

Participation in Vendor management and governance process.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Knowledge of Cisco UCCX

Knowledge of IPC, Private Wires

Knowledge of Unigy Trading System, NICE Voice Recording
