Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a L3 Senior AV Engineer. Responsibilities: * Implementing audio-visual systems tailored to client needs * Performing installation and setup of AV equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools * Conducting troubleshooting of AV systems * Configuring and calibrating AV equipment to ensure optimal performance * Providing technical support and training for users on AV system operation * Collaborating with network engineers to integrate AV systems into network infrastructure * Managing and documenting inventory of equipment and accessories * Staying up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends * Understanding detailed system installation diagrams and technical drawings/documentation * Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations * Conducts rigorous system testing, diagnostics, and performance verification * Delivers comprehensive handovers including documentation, client training, and snag resolution * Adheres to BS 7671 and UK standards for safe and high-quality wiring practices * Install and commission conferencing systems, projectors, displays, and audio processors Advanced knowledge of structured cabling for: * Network/Data (Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre) * Video (HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT) * Audio (Analog, AES/EBU, Dante, XLR) * Electrical (Low-voltage and AV power circuits)
